Öhlins presents their latest Motocross fork , the RXF 48S. With this 2021 fork, our key word was, “stability, defined and decisive, without harshness”. Most of the improvements found on the track come from internal changes to the cartridge, which we will also find for the cartridges that will be used on original forks.
We have decided on a goal for the development of the models 2021, which we were able to achieve by redesigning crucial parts of the internal valves as well as the calibration of the reed valve pack. With these changes combined, we are happy to be able to offer riders a fork that has improved stability, stiffness, defined position, front wheel response, controlled movements and can handle larger impacts. Clearly with the guarantee of our characteristic traction.
Our 2021 forks feature TiN treatments Gold on the stems for better durability, scratch resistance and high smoothness in stressful situations. The sheath guard has also changed from black to blue to have a more unified view of the fork. Along with these cosmetic changes for 2021, our “40th anniversary” fork sticker has been updated with a version that reminds us that Öhlins has been around since 1976.
