It sits low, close to the tyre, but with just enough clearance.The sound it produces is incredible and really adds character to the bike. I went from having an MT-07 that sounded like a scooter into owning a complete beast, and all of that with the baffle in! I cant recommend this product enough, as it has substantially improved my bikes weight and made me more recognizable in traffic.Thanks Black
