Heads racing tested for Yamaha TZ 250 2002 cylinder VHM, cod alg 10170, interchangeable cylinders, for two-stroke engines.
VHM produces exchangeable cylinder heads for two-stroke engines in motocross and road. With the experience acquired in the two-stroke tuning, VHM develops high quality products.
During the intensive tests, on the track as on the test bench VHM, the cylinder head showed a better development of temperature in the cylinder head. This was followed by a lower temperature of the engine. The explanation of this phenomenon is the use of a special aluminum alloy which has an excellent heat transfer. Another advantage of the material is its resistance to detonation.
The head of the VHM cylinder is designed with a central spark plug position for a better combustion and removable inserts of the combustion chamber so that the exchange of compression ratio are quick and simple, and no longer seals the head wasted thanks to the O-ring design
