Heads racing tested for Honda NSR 250 VHM cylinder, cod alg 10096, interchangeable cylinders, for two-stroke engines.
VHM produces exchangeable cylinder heads for two-stroke engines in motocross and road. With the experience acquired in the two-stroke tuning, VHM develops high quality products.
During the intensive tests, on the track as on the test bench VHM, the cylinder head showed a better development of temperature in the cylinder head. This was followed by a lower temperature of the engine. The explanation of this phenomenon is the use of a special aluminum alloy which has an excellent heat transfer. Another advantage of the material is its resistance to detonation.
The head VHM is designed with removable inserts of the combustion chamber so that the compression ratio changes are rapid and simple, and not more gaskets the head wasted thanks to the O-ring design

These heads use a centering candle and a coolant output tang exactly how the rear cylinder NSR standard. Therefore it is necessary in a HRC style tube which must also be ordered.
