Originally a one-off, bespoke exhaust system for the exclusive 288GTO. This system was built for a customer to maximise the car's inherent performance and extract the best possible acoustic profile from the 288GTO's race-derived engine.
The Capristo system is very light, weighing well under 10kg.
Made from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, the 288GTO exhaust has the added benefit of offering the owner a way to protect the originality of the OEM exhaust (a weak point if the car is driven, as it is made from mild steel).
