Description

The downpipe with/without catalyst is a detail that allows the engine performance to be significantly increased thanks to the direct flow of gases. The component is made of AISI 304 steel and entirely TIG welded by the expert hands of our operators. It is also equipped with sockets for lambda and pressure probes and the brackets necessary for assembly in the car. The product is plug&play but it is important to underline that modification of the electronic management system is recommended. The elimination of the catalyst/OPF also improves the sound of the car by increasing the tone of the exhaust. To create the downpipe, tubes with reduced thicknesses are used, generally 1.2 mm, to underline the high level of quality and careful attention to weight. The downpipe can also be insulated and therefore enclosed in a thermal protection.
