These high-performance downpipes feature Cat Sport's 100-cell per square inch substrate made from the highest quality materials available today, designed to improve airflow for your vehicle's turbocharged engine and increase performance.

The cell count of a catalytic converter substrate refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of the flow capabilities of that substrate. The fewer the holes, the larger the hole must be to fill a square inch, a larger hole subsequently flows more exhaust gas.

All that high flow won't help if the substrate is "squeezed" into a small diameter container or tube. For this reason, CAPRISTO Sport Cats come in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and valved exhaust system operation.

The CAPRISTO valved exhaust system helps low-end torque by providing exhaust back pressure and increases temperature for proper catalytic converter operation. In the high RPM open valve condition, it takes full advantage of the free flow characteristics of the CAPRISTO Sport Cats by optimizing the high energy exhaust at the ideal temperature and back pressure to maximize performance.

These catalytic converters can be easily retrofitted to a CAPRISTO exhaust system or any system that will fit directly over the OEM exhaust.

Replacing the OEM catalytic converter may activate a CEL (Check Engine Light).

To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to tune the ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
