These high performance sport catalytic converters feature a 100 cell per square inch substrate made from the highest quality materials available today, designed to improve airflow to your vehicle and increase performance.

The cell count of a catalytic substrate refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of the flow capabilities of that substrate. The fewer the holes, the larger the hole must be to fill a square inch, a larger hole subsequently flows more exhaust gas.

All that high flow won't help if the substrate is "squeezed" into a small diameter container or pipe. For this reason, CAPRISTO Sport Cats come in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and valved exhaust system operation.

The CAPRISTO valved exhaust system helps low-end torque by providing exhaust back pressure and increases temperature for proper catalytic converter operation. In the high-rpm open-valve condition, it takes full advantage of the free-flowing characteristics of the CAPRISTO Sport Cats by optimizing high-energy exhaust at the ideal temperature and back pressure to maximize performance.

These catalytic converters can easily be bolted onto a CAPRISTO exhaust system or any system that will fit directly over the OEM exhaust.
