These lightweight ?test tubes? fits in place of heavy OEM catalytic converters. Using test pipes removes the flow restriction that a catalytic converter places on an exhaust system, while increasing horsepower.

The effect is also eliminated silencing the converters, enhancing the aggressive sound of the engine. The test tubes are ideal for track days and racing applications.

On applicable models, the center section is made flexible as an additional protective feature against damage from vibrations to the header pipes and the Lambda or oxygen sensor caps are pre-installed and threaded.

The tubes can activate a CEL (Check Engine Light) .

The only way to completely disable the CEL is to tune the ECU.
