These lightweight ?test pipes? fit in place of the heavy OEM catalytic converters. The use of test pipes removes the flow restriction that a catalytic converter places on an exhaust system, while also increasing horsepower.

The muting effect of the converters is also eliminated, enhancing the aggressive engine note. Test tubes are ideal for track days and racing applications.

On applicable models, the center section is made flexible as an added protection feature against vibration damage to the header tubes and the Lambda or Oxygen sensor plugs are pre-installed and threaded.

The tubes can activate a CEL (Check Engine Light).

The only way to completely disable the CEL is to tune the ECU.
