The iconic CAPRISTO valved exhaust system offers the best of both worlds with its ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for around-town driving.

This is achieved by utilizing vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close depending on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle the valves open, releasing the full symphony of the engine.

The exhaust valves are back-pressure controlled and user-programmable via the included CES-3 control module. The programmable control unit provides 3 modes operated via a remote control:

Cruise exhaust valves open at higher RPMs

Sport exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration

Open exhaust valves stay open

Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed for specific back pressure limits to determine when the exhaust valves open. This allows for precise exhaust control based on the driver's personal taste and tolerance.

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is machined from high-quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its resonant properties, low weight and durability which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).

CAT ELIMINATE TEST PIPES:

These lightweight test pipes fit in place of the heavy OEM catalytic converters. The use of test pipes removes the flow restriction that a catalytic converter places on an exhaust system, whilst also increasing power. The muting effect of the converters is also eliminated, enhancing the aggressive sound of the engine. Test pipes are ideal for track days and racing applications.

Oxygen or lambda probe plugs are pre-installed and threaded.

Made from T309 (1.4828) stainless steel.

Replacing the OEM catalytic converter may activate a CEL (Check Engine Light).

To disable a recurring CEL, you will need to either tune the ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
