The Huracan Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housing that provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that recalls the Venturi effect.
The Lamborghini Huracan Eventuri intake system: form and function in sublime harmony. Our goal was to create a flagship intake and set a benchmark for this platform: using organic curves and pre-preg carbon fiber, the results speak for themselves. Gone are the awkward cuboid plastic airboxes and in their place is a beautifully engineered system that allows for smoother airflow and releases the glorious growl of the V10 engine. Every detail has been considered, from the flawless carbon fiber with integrated MAF pipes to the custom heat shields and silicone joints. More power, improved throttle response and an intoxicating induction sound to elevate the Huracan driving experience. The Huracan will require tuning to allow the intakes to operate without a check engine light. This is due to the narrow MAF range set by the factory being overcome by the increased airflow provided by the intakes.
Below are independent dyno graphs showing the Eventuri versus stock airboxes on a tuned Huracan. The only thing that changed between runs was the intake itself. All runs already had the tune applied. As you can see, power and torque are up across a wide portion of the rpm range, not just at peak. On the road, this translates into increased mid- and full-throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly towards redline. The tests were run on the same day back to back and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency. Since dynamometer results vary between consecutive tests, this graph shows the highest power value achieved with the stock configuration compared to the highest value with the Eventuri.
The Eventuri Huracan intake system is made up of a series of components designed to perform a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards. We use 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber with no fiberglass, which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain a smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:
Each intake system consists of:
Patented Venturi Filter Housing Assembly
The filter housings consist of a custom-built high-flow filter, an aluminum canopy, laser-cut brackets and the carbon pod itself. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse-mounted filter and gently shapes the airflow to the intake tubes. This gentle reduction in cross-sectional area is reminiscent of the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack: below is a diagram showing how our patented design compares to a conventional intake system. More details can be found on the Technology page.
Carbon fiber intake duct
The duct seals the housing and channels ambient air from the side air outlets to the filter. It fits the OEM duct system and smoothly transitions into the circular shape of the filter housing. To ensure a good seal against engine bay heat, seal the filter housings using neoprene gaskets.
Custom silicone joints
The filter housings attach to the intake manifold with our custom joints that replace the OEM hoses. Our joints provide a much smoother flow path to the plenum and feature internal steps to match the throttle body walls, ensuring there are no airflow steps that would create turbulence. Movement is designed into the housing assembly itself.
